Top 5 activities in my week off mid-term

Imagen
 1. Sleep  In this week of rest I took advantage of sleeping as much as the evaluations in classes do not allow me to hahaha. I woke up late every day I could so I could have more energy during the day. I enjoyed it too much but my sleep schedule was off so today I have to sleep a little . 2. Read  During the week my cell phone broke, so I was disconnected these last few days, a situation that helped me resume a hobby that I had forgotten. At night I started reading Jodorowsky's book, "The Way of the Tarot." A very extensive book that I had been waiting for for a long time. Sadly, the book is created to read the "original" tarot deck, which is the Marseillaise, a deck that I don't have because I only got an Italian tarot deck. Despite this, I managed to enjoy the beginning of the reading a lot.  3. Reat in the beach  From Thursday to Sunday of this week I went with my girlfriend to Con Con to rest together and enjoy our company. We took advantage of cooking

The one that amuses me the most and I am attentive to his publications in social networks is Fernando Galvez Gomez also known by his artistic name as "Yung Beef" or others like "El Seko" or "Fernandito Kit Kat" or "Lana del Rey" or "Beef Boy" or as his Intragram username "RicoSuaveYaTuSabe". Yung Beef is a Spanish rapper with more than 10 years of career and one of the most influential in Spanish due to being one of the first rappers who brought the genre "Trap" in Spanish, in addition to creating his independent record label called "La Vendicion".                                        I've been following him since 2018, since I listened to his album "A.D.R.O.M.M.I.C.F.M.S. IV" and I discovered him looking for new music to listen to and I found on youtube a review of that album and I found it interesting because of the album cover. I like his Instagram profile because he is very free when upl

Cycling

Something I like to do outdoors in cycling, what I like most is to climb the hills near where I live as Cerro El Panul and climb up to the Bahai Temple, but occasionally I go out with some friends Agustin Diaz and Demians Faundez to ride the Cerro San Cristobal or ride up to Farellones road, where once we got to be in the snow jajaja. I always rode my bike a lot since I was a kid but I started to do it more often after the pandemic with a friend, Dinko Elgueta, who had been riding since before, and in fact worked delivering food by bike jajaja. I like to do it because at the time of going down the hills is very exciting, plus I usually do it with friends, so it's always good to have an excuse to get together and share, without talking too much because it's complicated after a long time to talk and ride at the same time jajaja. Sadly because of the university I have not been able to do it much this semester to the point that I forgot when was the last time I walked a lot. Beside

The church of Quicavi

Imagen
Thanks to the FAU elective course, "Chiloe Program: Territory, Landscape and Culture of the Archipelago", I was able to get to know the church of Quicavi, which we are now studying. We went at the end of October with the majority of the course, for 5 days, in that time we knew a lot of churches of the archipelago but the one I liked the most was the church of Quicavi. In the church we were able to see the interior, the whole structure and the carpentry joints that are found in the construction. What I liked the most were the carpentry joints because it felt like a continuation of a previous course in which we did carpentry! to identify everything and see the detail that is mahined in each part of the structure was beautiful. I would say that what makes the church of Quicavi important is the level of detail that manages the structure, created by carpenters from Chiloe, and cared for by the community it generates. Although the passage of time hit hard on the whole church, havin

The dream of returning to Japan

Imagen
In the month of December 2018 I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Japan for 21 days, it was the dream of me and my siblings, Sasha and Titi, and thanks to the savings of my older brother we were able to achieve. We arrived in Japan after an extensive trip of more than a day with a stopover in Canada, I arrived so tired that I slept under a mattress that was on the futons jajajaja. We were staying in Tokyo and Kyoto but touring as much as possible thanks to the bullet train, by train we went to iconic cities like Nara, where the deer seemed to be dogs because they are so used to people, Hiroshima, which was too sad to go to the museum, Osaka, which was the place we liked the least jajaja, and some more that I should not remember now jajaja.   We toured all kinds of temples, climbing hills where there were even monkeys that lived with the tourists! Although we not only enjoyed the heritage sites of the country but also the current sites, we played too much in the sega machines, we wen

Long Hard Road Out of Hell

Imagen
The book "Long Hard Road Out of Hell" is a biographical book written by Brian Hugh Warner, the industrial metal singer known worldwide as "Marilyn Manson", and Neil Strauss as a ghostwriter. I read this book during March and April 2019. I did it digitally because books are very expensive and books like this are hard to get. I found out about this book because at the time I was a big fan of Marilyn Manson as an icon of the 2000's, so in my spare time I decided to read it.  I like this book because it helps to understand how a normal person, educated in a religious school, ends up becoming the "Antichrist Superstar". In this long journey he shows how he was abused as a child, rejected as an adolescent and rebellious as an adult. as a method to survive. He talks about how in his life he was always connected to this religious, esoteric, sadistic and immoral world, mainly because of a "gene" from his grandfather.  He also talks about how drug use
